Nov 12 2007Indiana Jones Legos Reveal Key Scenes, Desperation
We've reached a new point of desperation for Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull information. With no spy reports, stolen images, or script pages, we've turned to the Deepthroat of movie information, Lego, to provide us with cryptic clues in the names of their interlocking brick sets. Here are the names of the four new sets to be released in May, along with what could be the corresponding scenes:
1. 7624 Jungle Duel - Indiana Jones will, apparently, duel someone in an undetermined jungle.
2. 7625 River Chase - Someone will be chased on, or alongside, a river. Maybe Indiana Jones is chasing someone. Maybe someone is chasing Indiana Jones. Maybe it goes back and forth, like that scene from the "Rabbit of Seville" Looney Tunes.
3. 7626 Jungle Cutter - Indiana Jones applies a thick coating of Cutter to protect against the insects of the jungle.
4. 7627 Temple of the Crystal Skull - A kingdom and a temple? This thing is chock-full of crystal skulls!

Indiana Jones is above Legos. No one was allowed to do Legos of The Good, The Bad & The Ugly. Sluts. Anything for the God Almighty Dollar. Which reminds me - could one of you show me how to build a web page that takes credit cards so I can get rich? I'll do anything you want except if it involves animals.

Yeah, screw those bastards at Lego for creating one of the most beloved educational toys of all time. They shouldn't get a dime for making learning fun! Who the hell do they think they are? Of all the companies who own a piece of Batman, Star Wars, or Sponge Bob, Lego disgusts me the most! Kids need ring tones and logo emblazoned t-shirts, not educational toys that are actually fun! Damn you Lego!!! Oh, and capitalism sucks too! Waaaah!

When I was 10 I thought the coolest thing in the world would be a TMNT Lego set but it didn't happen until MegaBloks came out with then when I was 20.

Hey, I wasn't trying to bash Lego. I love 'em! Any Star Wars fan who's played the LEGO Star Wars video game should be able to agree that it's better than half the Star Wars games LucasArts usually cranks out, and it's actually the first game ever to accurately follow all six movies! I'll bet the inevitable LEGO Indiana Jones game will be the same way.
