Nov 30 2007'Hellboy 2' Banner Displays Marked Change in Disposition

Worried about how to alter the look of your superhero protagonist enough between films that it warrants selling new action figures? Don't change the costume, silly! Just go the Hellboy 2 route, and give your character some sort of visibly crippling mental disability. Maybe you can even make a head wound part of the plot, or make it like Rain Man!

Actually, they just replaced Ron Perlman with Nick Nolte. But I agree, drunk, burnt out Nick Nolte does look a lot like someone who's mentally disabled.
