Nov 8 2007AM Poster Post: 'Awake' Poster has Awoken

awake-poster.jpg

Awake is about a guy waking up from his anesthesia during surgery, where he overhears the surgeons are plotting to kill him. So why does this poster, with a shaft of dramatic light illuminating the giant heads of Alba and Christensen, look so much like an alien abduction movie?

A better poster would be the Operation game board--that guy was always awake during surgery--with Hayden Christensen's head on it. And his red nose is lit up, and on it says "SURGEON MURDERERS ATTACKING ME!" I think that would really get the point across.

"Awake", because they urge audiences not to fall asleep while Christensen and Alba try to make a serious movie.

Also, I see that Terrence Howard is in this movie. I assume he'll make an impromptu appearance at the end of the movie, claiming that they're all racist.

I think it's a clause in Christensen's contract where all his posters have to look exactly the same.

Awake.

Starring Hayden Christensen; the kid who turned Darth Vader, the baddest of the bad, into a sniveling, whiny, crying little selfish jerk. Jessica Alba; The hottest, and at the same time, worst actress to be found outside the porn industry. And Terrence Howard; hollywood's latest addition to the list of black actors that middle-aged housewives can refer to as "so well spoken."

I think I'll wait to get this on DVD and then throw it at my cat when it tries to eat one of my plants.

It was a very nice idea! Just wanna say thank you for the information you have shared. Just continue writing this kind of post. I will be your loyal reader. Thanks again.
