Oct 31 2007'Aliens vs. Predator: Requiem' Banners Show Off Claws
The problem with this Aliens vs. Predator: Requiem banner, aside from the concept it's promoting, is that this is like the lamest pose a Predator can make. If you could be there, at the Predator Bar Mitzvah or wherever they get their learning claws, this is definitely what every 13-year-old Predator is doing.
"Did you see my claws, dude? Get a shot of me showing my claws. Wait, is the red light on? I want the red light on, too."
And this is clearly every Predator's senior picture. It's their equivalent to our holding the lame instrument you play in band.
I've placed its counterpart, where an Alien is posing like a decrepit grandma, under the cut.

The Alien, looks like he's doing a *if it wasn't for those pesky kids* kind of sneer in a Famous 5/Scooby Doo kind of way. Anyone know what i mean ?

That's the female predator she has 2 claws and the males have 3 for the weapons. Didn't you see her in the movie clip with that nasty ass whip, slicing some poor bastard in half?
Still it doesn't make up for the shitty pose. Maybe she is about to fix her hair or something.

I dislike how there is one predator versus several aliens. It just diminishes the credibility of the aliens. Of course, the predator is going to kill a bunch of them, but I don't like that. These filmmakers are making the aliens seem too weak.

Um... when did it become ok to take a video game scenario and totally change the storyline to be more gay and shitty? Remember the 16 bit gore and unrelenting need to play? This movie, along with the previous unholy incarnation make me want to take a pen to my eye and gouge out my brain.

This looks like they spent more money on it than that last stinker. That one looked like football players in Halloween masks. This looks a little more Stan Winston.

LOL. You dorks wouldn't like any poster of this series no matter what. I think they work. Grandma alien pose?! They always look a little bent over and drooley. Predator looks like a macho warrior race. Like always.
I'm sure this movie will be better than all of the Tim Allen and Martin Lawrence Christmas movies that will have come out.
I don't expect much from Hollywood. I look for deeper meaning in comic books and novels. Truly, it's not hard.

The "red dot" in question is the laser aiming reticle for the little cannon on thje predator's shoulder. You know lasers? Like on the sharks in the Austin Powers films? RRRRRiiiiiiiiggghhhhttt.

You'll got it wrong in the poster w/ the predator, It's a WWF / E / EA...whatever wrestler pose that all of them knuckle-heads do. It drips "LOOK at these here 24 inch Pythons!!!" I'm gettin' '80s Hulka-mania all over again! The worst mistake that these idiot writers/producers/director did was to set it on Earth circa.. NOW. How friccin' hard was it to do the first one in the future,on another planet - since pretty much ALL of that one takes place on a set in the middle of nowhere?
Once again, Hollyweird has turned a Horror / Triller show into a teeny-bopper SLasher POS to rack in the next gen's weened on Sawed-tosleep & Hosed-up (then repeat in 7 months) drivel that despoils the screen these days. The only thing these POSs need for more audience participation is a counter (much like the one used in Hot Shots! Part Deux) for the kills to insure they know how many bought it - maybe a replay at the end of all the aMAZing ways to be butchered!! To top it all off, have liquor passed out to everyone and have the hysterically fun time of downing a shot for every kill! Say good-bye to falling box office and hello to the new Golden teethed ERA...
I'll wait for the youtube kill counter on the alien flicks; since someone did that with the Deathwish flicks~why not for alien?

RE: All those ridges....
The Alien in the poster looks like the creatures from Aliens, which didn't have the smooth dome over their heads like the original design, which gave the Alien's head an intentionally penis-like silhouette. (Yeah, H.R. Giger is a real piece of work. :P)
However, underneath the smooth dome, the creature's head has all those ridges and spikes and what have you.
Unlike the original, these don't have the semi-transparent faceplate, so you can't appreciate the disturbingly human-like skull underneath.
Original Alien design rules.
