Sep 14 2007Zwigoff Building $40,000 Man for New Line, Pleasure
Terry Zwigoff will direct, and re-write with Ghost World collaborator Daniel Clowes, The $40,000 Man, a spoof on the television series The Six-Million Dollar Man. The film will follow an astronaut, horribly injured in a crash, who must be repaired with bionic parts on a budget lower than a luxury car. The film's subtitle will be The Christopher Reeve Story.
Too soon?

My favorite joke of all time is:
What's the opposite of Christopher Reeves?
...
...
...
Christopher Walken.
It's never too late to make fun of America's debilitated semi-heroes.
God bless us everyone.
