Sep 12 2007Shyamalan Talks Avatar, Likes 'Eastern Stuff'

MTV Movies Blog has a new interview with M. Night Shyamalan, where he discusses his reasons for his newest project, adapting the Nickelodeon cartoon Avatar: The Last Airbender into a feature film. His selective criteria included: "cool fighting scenes and everything," "the supernatural with all the elements," and "Eastern stuff." Keep an eye out for the follow-up interview where he admits, "Also, I figured out a way to tack on a really inane twist ending and some other bullshit that will make a lot of people wonder how I've ever made a successful picture."

No one cares about him.

I presently wonder how he ever made a successful picture. The Sixth Sense was ok but doesn't age well, and every subsequent film is mediocre. He's a Hitchcock wannabe, and the size of his head makes up for his small penis. Yeah, I guess I don't like him.

Yay. I wonder how he's gonna squeeze in a self insertion this time.

He started with an average film and then proceeded to release steadily worse material every time. Why does he get s much airtime?

There goes an otherwise-good movie.

His movie signs was saurian. Not the aliens but the movies, the door, the knob, it wasn't like movies before. It wasn't like invasion of the body snatchers, it was suarian. The look in Mel's eyes, Roary Culkan. Anyway, he want's to make a good movie. He likes eastern things, I hope people don't take that the wrong way. His movie sounds like it is going to be good, we have to see it first.
