Sep 6 2007Sigur Rós's Heima Breaks

Icelandic band Sigur Rós breaks their silence from nonsensical, high-pitched droning this fall with Heima, a new music documentary that follows a free tour of their home country last summer. Watch the above trailer to fulfill your once-daily requirement of Nordic musical performance. Save this one for tomorrow.

god i love sigur ros

That was brilliant.

I love Icelandic post-rock music... Good chill music as well too.

such an amazing band. cannot wait!

Sweet, I didn't know the persons (?) who wrote this blog were into good music.

This documentary's going to be good.

OMFG i adore sigur ros i have to see this movie

i hope they show the lead singer's heima getting broken...HIS BUTT HEIMA THAT IS

Disregarding the little kid (mentally or physically) in the above post...

I really love Sigur Ros' work. And going from the offcourse tailored information given by them in the trailer, they seem like nice down to earth guys, and not so ice-ice-cold like one would think of an icelandic person ;-)

Anyways nice to see something like that on this page, between the giant fighting robots and creativity-less blockbuster junk that will be perfect for the millions of humans who want to spend an hour or 2 vegetation in a cinema around the globe before goign to kill the remaining braincell(s) in a bar with cheap dutch beer.

why did I read the title of this as "Salma Hayek's Hymen Breaks"?

i'm a "little kid (mentally or physically)" cause i wanna see the lead singer get it on?

then i guess that makes you a homophobe. ha ha! come on, we're humans too you hate-monger!

i'm sure the band you worship would appreciate that, seeing as how the lead singer is GAF (gay as fuck). and you assume that there's a chance that they might not be nice because they were born in a cold place? god, you're fucking stupid. jonsi's girly whale voice must really reverberate in that hollow head of yours : ( : ( :((((((((

finally, something that doesnt piss me off. I would love to see sigur ros live, I hear wonderful things about their live show
