Aug 3 2007Rob Zombie's Halloween Trailer #2

I won't say this movie is going to be in any way good, but this latest trailer to Rob Zombie's Halloween remake does look slightly better than I thought it would, even with what appears to be that little Hanson drummer as the young Michael Myers. But watching it, I couldn't help but notice the above shot seemed a bit out of place. Is this some strange tribute to that scene in Beetlejuice or does Rob Zombie think bespectacled sheet-ghosts are legitimately scary? Either way, I wish there were more of them with different accessories.

UPDATE: I notice some of you pointing out that this scene makes perfect sense. I could pretend I was making some joke within a joke, but I'll just tell you flat out that I only saw Halloween once like a decade ago, and I completely forgot about this scene being in the original. So for the sake of argument, let's compromise and say the above scene may make sense, depending on your memory.

Please tell me you're joking? Please. Are you retarded or something? If you've seen Halloween you'd know exactly what this is.

This was a scene fromt he original Halloween. Mike Myers kills the blond girls bf in the kitchen and then dresses in the sheet with the bf's glasses and kills the blond girl. Obvi.

I think this is actually an homage to Macaulay Culkin's character, Thomas J., in My Girl.

April, that comment just cracked me up.

I haven't too wild about Zombie's films so far. I don't expect Citizen Kane like script construction in a horror movie, but give me something that resembles a passable structure.
Maybe using the Halloween script will help him out. He has a bit of an eye for gore. He's no Argento though.

I can't believe you've only seen Halloween once a long time ago, netflix it asap

Give him a break. The original is influential, sure, but not really, you know, good. You're not missing anything, man. Unless you're just aching to watch the kinda shitty mother of kinda shitty horror movies for decades to come.

Can anyone give me any sort of reason why this movie comes out in late august instead of, I dunno, LATE OCTOBER??!!!! Were there 7 other halloween remakes coming out on halloween or something. I should open up my own movie production company if these idiots are going to be my competition. My mission statement will be genius....release blockbusters in July, Scary movies in october, christmas movies in december, romances in february, and award winners March-June. I am the SMARTEST MAN ALIIIIVE!!! (kids giggle in background)

i can't wait to see this movie. i heard chewbakka does a great job of playing mr. myers. but why does zombie have to keep putting his wife in his movies. she has the most annoying voice ever. unless she shows her titties, i'll keep on hating her.
