Aug 31 2007Dragon Wars TV Spot

Most of the time, I'm really dubious of these ridiculous blockbuster action flicks with big budgets and over-the-top premises. Luckily, I don't consider a good and an evil dragon returning to earth and doing battle with our military an over-the-top premise, so I was free to enjoy this 30-second preview's dragon vs. man vs. dragon battle with no inhibitions. I suggest you do the same.

Opens in theaters everywhere? Seriously? For real? This looks like one of the 100 made-for-cable movies on the Sci Fi channel.

Trust me. This movie is HORRIBLE.

I saw it in South Korea when it first came out. It's not even one of those movies that's so bad it's good. Not even MST3k would be able to save it. Even the Korean elementary school kids I teach -- kids who eat their own boogers and think a giant boy band named Super Junior is cool -- said the movie was stupid and boring.

HAHAHA!!!
Super Junior...how many are they, like 20 guys in one boy band? I know so many people who are freaking in love with those guys and i just don't get it

Anyways, this movie looks terrible...and it is a shame because the director has done other great korean movies. But his attempt to go Hollywood is just really bad...BAD BAD BAD....

and the actors casted are just terrible....
I think the lead actor is the guy from that old WB show called Roswell...i think his name is Jason Behr....

I have seen other clips of this and it was painful to watch the acting and the terrible special effects...

But nice try...i guess..

It lost me at 'ancient prophecy'. Why does it always have to be an ancient prophecy? Can't things just f-ing happen, without some sort of prophecy attached to it?

Looked lame from start to finish.
