Aug 9 2007Cloverfield Call Sheet May Reveal Ending

media-removed.jpg

Even though no one knows what it's really about, or even what the name is, the final scene to J.J. Abrams' top secret Cloverfield (or whatever you want to call it) giant monster project may have been leaked. A call sheet collected from the final day of shooting, cleverly hidden under the codename "Cheese," has revealed that... (hidden under cut so people won't say I spoiled something, though it's really not much of a spoiler.)

EDIT: Got a letter from Paramount asking us to take down the call sheet. Which sucks, but at least confirms that it was real.

1. The movie ends with leads Beth and Rob under a Central Park bridge, ignoring the destruction around them to focus on each other.

2. There is an alternate ending that takes place in the same situation but is presumably altered in some way.

3. Neither ending sounds as cool as "EXT. CENTRAL PARK - Huge monster going fucking crazy on buildings, people, animals. Winks at camera. Fade out."

4. J.J. Abrams may be infringing on certain trademark laws with his Kraft Velveeta-esque Cheese logo.

This movie will only be good if it is based on RAMPAGE. Or frogger.

Why can't people spell any longer? We're moving towards an Orwellian society where words are done away with, everyone uses leet, and no one uses puntcuation.
Why? Why? Why?

What do you mean, Ali?
By the way, one of my best friends is named Ali, so I automatically think you rock!

Dammit! What'd the sheet have on it?!?

Ed - click the "source" link above if you want to see the sheet.

Man, that movie's written by Drew Goddard, he of Buffy fame? Hmm... Yet another reason for me to be interested.

Comedian TJ Miller is in this movie.

Awesome.

why do you people think the last piece they shot HAS to be the ending of the film he?

How does the paper being taken down confirm anything? If the studio makes all these cryptic websites and info to lead people on, and this was just a piece of evidence placed conveniently placed in the hands of a website they knew would blab it everywhere; This has been thought through ahead of time.

This is marketing genius, and look, everyone got sucked in.

As a lifelong Godzilla fan, the buzz surrounding this film is embarrassing. The most you can expect is a Idependance Day remake... threaten the globe, but make a few stupid main characters the focal point.
