Thinking that the title was Aliens vs. Predator vs. Requiem, I was understandably disappointed when this trailer did not feature an Alien fighting a hopped-up Ellen Burstyn and Jared Leto. Barring that misunderstanding, I think you'll be pleasantly surprised with this little preview. Like a porn star's demo reel, it wisely avoids revealing too much acting or plot and focuses on the parts you wouldn't want a mother to see, along with occasional screaming.
You can see a higher-quality version at the official site, but you'll have to either be 17 or have the math skills to enter a birth date that would pretend as much. Thanks for the tip, Metzger.

Sorry, it looks to me like any horror movie from the 1990's (Freddy, Jason, Michael Myers, etc) except that they've replaced the bad guy with Aliens.

Hmm...I thought the first film was garbage and this one might follow suite. I'am glad though that its going to be R rated and have plenty of bloody and gore that an Alien or Predator film should have. If its better than the first then I'll be happy :) Too early to say though...

Yeah, at least they're rating this one R. Making the previous one PG-13 was the dumbest move ever. Of course due to the outcry on the lack of gore on that one, according to this trailer it looks like they're overcompensating more than a rich guy with a small pecker by packing in probably more gore than in all the previous films combined. :-\

Im a huge aliens fan...and I Kinda liked the first AVP. There wasnt enough action and fighting though. THIS ONE LOOKS LIKE IT TAKES CARE OF THAT PROBLEM. Its almost as if this time they got it right. Gory..scary, action packed..thats what fans wanted to see. The fact that in one shot you see an alien get shot and its blood eats the humans face off instantly...is alot more hard edge..and quite honestly....more fun. The first AVP was too tame. Its almost at though this one was made as an apology for the last one. The trailer looks great....it looks like its going to be a scifi slaughterfest of humas, aliens and predators. I caint wait to see it.

I think it's fitting that right after they splash the words, "In space, no one can hear you scream" across the screen we hear the roar of a space ship as it flies by. Good job. They can't hear you scream, but they can hear your space ship approaching from miles away.
