Jul 31 2007Whiteout Poster ComicCon Exclusive

For once Hollywood has realized that an original Frank Miller design might be better than whatever crappy mosaic of stars' faces they can cook up, so they've gone with the original graphic novel cover design for the Whiteout poster. The only real difference between designs is that Miller's protagonist shows the face of a strong, courageous woman, whereas Beckinsale has gone with an expression that screams, "Ut-oh, Rosie the Riveter! What kind of mess has empowerment got me in this time!?"
If you're wondering what Whiteout is about, you can read the entire first issue of the comic here, you lucky dog.

I can't tell if you're unobservant or this just reveals how much of a shit you don't give about comics, but in the picture you linked you might want to note the author is Greg Rucka, not Frank Miller.

Bren, Frank Miller designed the cover. It says FM right there. Pay attention. Nobody said he wrote the comic, just designed the cover.

Frank Miller must be the richest man in comics.

Who freakin cares if Frank Miller designed the poster. I just want to see Kate Beckinsale in some hot steamy lesbo action

Hate to burst your bubble, Pedro, but you're not likely to see any "hot steamy lesbo action" - the character Beckinsale is playing is straight - and a widow to boot.
Yes, I have this graphic novel. Yes I'v read it. So, yeah, as far as I can recall, no girl-on-girl. Sorry, folks.
