Jul 9 2007Two-Face AND Riddler in Dark Knight?

two-face-riddler.jpg

Following earlier rumors that Anthony Michael Hall would play Edward Nygma in The Dark Knight that I took with a grain of salt, more reports are apparently coming in that he actually is in the Riddler role after all. Go figure.

Furthermore, spies near the Batman set are saying they've seen Harvey Dent (Aaron Eckhart) in full (half?) Two-Face makeup, meaning the dramatic transformation to villain may indeed occur in this chapter.

This brings the villain list to:
- The Joker (confirmed)
- Scarecrow (nearly confirmed?)
- Edward Nygma, AKA The Riddler (rumored)
- Harvey Dent, AKA Two-Face (confirmed, but maybe not as villain yet)
- Hitler (confirmed as villain, but primarily versus Jews)
- Heart Disease (still America's greatest killer; unconfirmed in Batman, confirmed in burgers, bacon)
- Yourself (somehow you always knew it)

I always knew I would be a villain. This is all just going according to plan.

What about Sarah Michelle Gellar as Harley Quinn? Has that rumor been definitely killed?

With all those villains, do you even NEED Batman? Or a plot?

I think I just had a nerdgasm in my pants.

Oh goody, another Batman and Robin it seems like!

Is it just me, or does THIS look a lot like Spiderman 3's fiasco of super-shit?

God damn them if they follow in the footsteps of Spider-man 3. I can't take another superhero being killed by hollywood. I just can't.

I hope the Joker gets to kiss Maggie Gyllenhal too. And then her mom . Heck, maybe even the family dog! Lets go for broke!

Man...Sarah Michelle Gellar as Harley Quinn....*spooge*.

i am already having nightmares from this movie. do any of you remember watching batman the animated series and just totally freaking out when the villains started banning together? i would always think "there's no way. not even batman could survive!" but of course, he always did.

p.s. i would refuse to see this movie if sarah michelle gellar was playing harley quinn. ugh. or if it were lindsay lohan. you know who i think would actually make sense? selma blair.

okay. long comment. sorry

Selma Blair? She is about as bubbly and fun as a gravestone. She would not do a good Harley Quinn. I think Anna Faris would do an excellent Harley Quinn. Selma Blair would do a great gravestone though.

well, it's logical to see all these villains since we are going to see arkham in close up this time, but they'll probably won't be major ... i think it's going ot focus on the Joker and have small cameos of other villains, and Harvey Dent ain't a bad guy in this one i believe.

If SMG mixed her psychotic/sociopathic tendencies from Cruel Intentions, her sarcasm from Buffy, and her slutty, airhead idiosyncracies from Scooby Doo/I Know What You Did Last Summer, she could definitely pull off Harley Quinn.

That said, Anna Faris would do an incredible job. She's incredibly underrated, and it was a crime she wasn't really mentioned when people discussed the acting of Brokeback Mountain. The women far outshined the men.

Burt Reynolds = Commissioner Gordon

Anna Faris has the ass of a major, major star. Just not in straight movies, but the tights would help that.

The amount of plot and story is inversely proportional to the number of villains. Come on, everybody knows that. Also, with every sequel, you need to increase the number of villains by at least one. But I'm not sure if this counts as #2 or #5. If it's only #2, they might be blowing their load early. If considered #5, then they need to step it up a notch and bring on Bane and Michael Moore.

Harley Quinn = Kirsten Bell

I think a lot of these extra characters(villans), are just making appearances and not a big part of this movie. They're probably more of a ste-up for the next movie!

::::SPOILER:::: Start

All right. I don't know if someone posted this already, but Two-Face and The Joker are the only ones in the movie. Two-Face is Harvey Dent. He only has like a 20 minutes in the movies (at most). I wish they would have given him more screen time.

::::SPOILER:::: End

I can't wait for Poison Ivy and The Riddler. How crazy would that be if they brought Jim Carrey back?

Anyway, for those of you that want to know... You DO NOT need to stay after the credits. There is not scene after. I stayed all the way to a blank screen, waste of time. But overall, a GREAT movie.

Actually, the scarecrow did appear in it also. So there are actually 3 villains in the Dark Knight

sorry. he wasn't edward nygma
