Jul 27 2007Sweeney Todd Poster

Thanks to the wonder of ComicCon exclusives, Tim Burton's film adaptation of the Sweeney Todd musical now has a poster, and it's filled with more brooding than Morrissey listening to a Cure album.
If the use of a sole red object amidst a black and white scene reminds you of that girl with the red coat from Schindler's List, it's for a reason: after she was killed, she was made into this chair.

Wow, they reused the Edward Scissorhands background. Tim Burton must be either low on funds or really into recycling!

If you aren't sure whether Tim Burton is a) low on funds or b) recycling, I wonder if you've seen a Tim Burton film in the last 15 years. The answer is D all of the above. Still Johnny Depp looks kick ass - I only fear he will sing.

What does the bit at the bottom say? The D******er of Fleet Street? Wtf? Is he a dementor?

Oh its 'demon barber'... not dementor... Close though... Fuck you tim burton!

Can't Depp stop working with Burton sometime? He's a really cool actor and the best Burton can make doesn't even measure up to the quality of my shitstains.

Oh...wow. The Schindler's List chair bit is probably one of the most inappropriate and offending shock-jokes I've read on this network...
And the most brilliant. Well done, well done!
