Why release a crap-assed poster for a movie that isn't coming out until nearly 2009? Are they trying to build buzz or just seeing if anyone cares?
BTW, more than likely, I'll see it when it comes out.

It doesn't merely say Star Trek, it says Star Trek in the font of the original series! They're cleverly indicating that it's a prequel by using a font from the 1960s!
I might almost be excited about this movie. The franchise broke the "every other" rule with that last shitty movie, so hopefully this will be the one odd-numbered Star Trek movie that isn't bad, just as Nemesis was the only even-numbered one that wasn't good.
