Bloody Disgusting is reporting a rumor (whatever the hell that means) that Troll is going to get a big budget remake. Watching the above clip might make you excited for something like that, but think about it, what would a big budget remake of this be like? Well, first they'd replace the random B-listers like Sonny Bono, and the troll would probably end up being played by Eva Longoria. Then they'd take out the awesome lo-fi effects and replace it with CGI. And instead of something disturbing and hilarious, you'll get a mediocre video game. Charm of the original: lost. It's just like that neighbor girl. The doll you make from her hair will never quite smell like the original. *sigh* Sometimes I really wish I hadn't killed her.

Holy crap, I remember this film! I knew it was bad, but this beyond 80's bad. ...Maybe that tree did Sonny Bono a favor.

This has got to be one of the best movies ever.
Is it just me or did they use ron jeremy as a sort of half-way point between Sonny Bono and mucous-covered cuccoon?

Ummm....yeeeeaaaah. Sonny Bono touched by a green mood ring.....morphs into a giant exploding turd.....flora, or is it fauna, filled turd....... those leaves kinda look like weed....uhhhh, anyway.......I think the guy who wrote the script was livin' 420......or was the neighbor's kid who liked to drink gasoline....too avant garde for it's time, but look at it twenty years later....just look at it.
