Jun 22 2007Another The Simpsons Movie Trailer
This latest trailer for The Simpsons Movie looks funny enough that I think I'm willing to forget a few shitty seasons they've had and see this thing. Though that's how I got burned with Yes, Dear: the Movie...
In better quality here.

Remind me again why I care? Oh yeah, because I'm a Simpsons Fan.

WOW. I'm totally not seeing that movie, just like I didn't watch the last 10 seasons of that show.

I laughed at the Spider-Pig line, and that's about it.

I predict... that this movie will be sooo bad, it'll make people not want to watch the show anymore. AND. The show will be canceled next season.

Hey lets judge this movie before it comes out...you losers...you'll be some of the few who do not see this flick and good ridence since you seem like a bunch of hateful punks anyway.
Any Simpson fan will see this movie it will be a huge hit and hopefully will be the end to the series which should have ended on a high note and not with a bunch of sub par seasons which Fox did to keep the series going.

If you like the show, you will probably like the movie. If you don't like the show then don't see the movie and shut up about it.

its finally come to a point where people can't laugh at the little funnies in life, they HAVE to be blown away...and then all they do is give a little chuckle. So just relax, and try not to be too cool to laugh :)

Jeff, you said EXACTLY what I'm talking about.

That's the reason I'm not going to see this movie. This show stopped being funny ten years ago when I was in college. Unless the movie is a complete 180-degree turn from the television show, and relies on swearing and poop jokes, there isn't a joke on the Simpsons that hasn't already been told.
And I have EVERY right to judge this movie before it comes out. Why do you think movies put out trailers to begin with? So that we can watch them and judge for ourselves whether or not we'll want to go see the movie.

I'm sure it will be a huge hit, but I'll be in Germany from July 16th thru August 16th so I won't be able to see it until every funny person I know has already weighed in.
I've seen a few crap seasons of The Simpsons, but this season has been pretty consistently funny and if the same team is responsible for this film I think Fox has a winner on their hands.
I just hope to Christ that there is not a Family Guy movie in the works for another 15 years or so. After the apocalypse would be a good time for that.

This movie will surpass any other movie in its opening weekend. The fan base has shrunk, but even the ones that still not watch have been waiting for this. Then we have the new viewers. What happens after the opening weekend I'm not sure of, but I'll watch it at least once. I'm still hurting after SM3. Not much can make me laugh now as a grown up, but, I've waited for this forever... like Bart wanting to watch the Itchy and Scratchy movie.
