A Danish newspaper is reporting that Lars von Trier, one of the founding members of the Dogme movement, suffers from a deep depression that is threatening his career.
This isn't exactly a shocker; if you watch any of his movies it's pretty obvious they were made by a depressed guy. Kinda like when you watch a Jerry Bruckheimer film, it's pretty obvious he hates blacks.
PS - If you want to see a good von Trier film, go with The Idiots. It's about a group of depressed people that pretend to be retarded to feel better. Kind of like Jerry Bruckheimer.

and they sort of spontaneously DID that...
you know... did what they did in the film...
the retard bit.... i guarantee that before those camera's rolled... they fucked around all high and shit, actin' a fool....
without the camera's, it's just pathetic... but WITH the camera's it's downright "stunt for attention because we have no real acting talent"
see, the people in the film that fell for it, the one's that were regular people who were fooled by the actors playing retards, they ARE NOT A LITMUS TEST FOR HOW BELIEVEABLE THESE PATHETIC "ACTORS" WERE....
most people are complete idiots, they believe anything you tell them to, as long as they don't have to answer any more questions...
you want a film where (yes the people being acted upon are still idiots) the actor does SUPERB acting job? try borat

What do you mean regular people? They were all actors. But I agree that acting like a retard doesn't make you a good actor. Try telling that to the academy.
