If Andy Dick were a robot.

Yeah, so you think you've seen all the Transformers guys by now, but have you seen them in high resolution?! I didn't think so.

I don't really know very much about the Transformers, but at a glance I have to guess this guy above is probably one of the worst, and is probably frequently subjected to whatever the robot equivalent of a wedgie is.

Despite what people say..this movie looks fucking awesome. The Transformers look amazingly realistic...I give these stills a 10/10.

I agree.
I was also thinking about all the remarks about Bay and how he sucks. I also agree with that.
I don't think Bay is a director of good quality movies at all. Hated The Rock, hated Asteroid Cowboys Who Cry Alot starring Bruce Willis and Ben Affleck(?). So, why do I think this movie rocks? It's about giant transforming robots from outer space searching for a cube! The glove fits the hand, so to speak. If we had a good director doing the Transformers movie, it would be too divided. It would be super-serious followed by "Autobots, transform and roll out," and it just wouldn't work. In order for this movie to work, we need someone who doesn't do masterful drama, who really knows how to make stuff go "BOOM" and who is great at making people overact. The focus isn't even on the people, it's on the Transformers. Action Director+Giant Transforming Robots=good mix. We're not expecting Academy material here.

What on earth does the pictured Transformer transform into...a pincushion? It looks like a Shrike from Dan Simmons' Hyperion books!

Oops. I asked "Why do I think this movie rocks?" when I should have correctly asked "Why do I think this movie is going to rock?"
I'm not from the future...so stop asking!!!

are these stills from "Transformers: The Ultimate Aerobic Workout"?

Does the second to last one transform into a Toyota Camry?

That would be a Pontiac Solstice and his name is Jazz. The Toyota in the film will be named Wimpybot Omnicron.

Looks like a mustange to me.

Flames?! Optimus Prime has Flames?!?! Come on.

Seriously did the guys that made this movie watch any of the old cartoons or did they just "guess" what transformers look like?

The Andy Dick robot is Rumble, and he turns into a CD player. It's in one of the trailers. He's about as tall as a human, or a bit shorter.

Apparently he was originally going to be called Soundwave, but they changed it when they realized that aside from turning into a audio system he had nothing in common with the Soundwave of old.

Name-wise, I believe those go Bumblebee, Optimus Prime, Soundwave, Inferno, Starscream, Megatron, Jazz, Ironhide.

Prime should have flames. He looks amazing despite what you and every one else say.

Oh, NOW I get it....the 'evil' Decepticons are all the White robots, and the 'heroic' Autobots are the Colored ones, is that it? Some reverse-racist thing going on here with Michael Bay now, or what?

I'm just curious as to why they seem to have felt that they needed to make them as complicated as possible. Overly complicated CGI models might be impressive on one scale, but I can say right now I'm not very pleased by the looks of these.

Half of them look like a bunch of shrapnel thrown together rather than a robot that can transform into a vehicle.

If someone has car fenders for knees, sure we don't want it to still look like it's still part of the car thrown on a robot, but you should at least be able to distinguish it upon examination.

Right now you can hardly even tell what any part of them is. Like the one 2nd one from the left on the bottom row (I assume that's Megatron). He looks more like he should transform into a wicker fence with thorny vines running through it. I don't want to even attempt to guess what he really changes into in this movie because whatever it is it can't be anything from Earth.

Bumblebee, Optimus, Starscream, Blackout and Jazz are easy to pick, but I agree with Justin; you should at least be able to make a guess as to what these things transform into. I seem to remember Megatron becoming a handgun (which I always had a problem with; he was surely taller than 6 inches when he was in robot mode). That doesn't look like a handgun to me.

Ahahahahaa you guys suck. When you click on the pictures, in the address bar you will see their name. Or just scroll over them and if you're using internet explorer the web address can be seen at the bottom of your screen.

I miss megatron's nazi helmet and arm-mounted cannon!! It now looks like he'll transform in to an Easter Island statue with barbed wire and ginzu knife attachments. Starscream looks like he escaped from a robot freak show. He sort of reminds me of a robotic elephant man. Optimus at least looks kind of like Optimus. Bumble Bee ain't half bad- he actually looks a little cooler than he should (Bumble bee was always somewhat of a little wimp in the comics and cartoon).

Why is everyone so intent on harking back to the good ole days of the animated transformers? Has anyone watched one of the old cartoons lately? Megatron and Soundwave's scale issues to start... I think that these new robots look quite cool, but it will be more interesting to see how they transform. Let the kids have a new generation of robots that do not look like the old ones "modernized". Has anyone seen the "new" Transformers Cybertron? Smooth and fluid beats Big and blocky any day.

My question is everyone seems to complain how Optimus prime in this movie has LIPS! But these pictures clearly shows he doesnt! So what the hell were these people complaining about?

the film is fantastic you must go see it

That scrawny looking thing is Frenzy. He pops out of Ratchet. In the movie he got quite a few laughs from the audience. As for Megatron hes actually a Cybertronian fighter jet. Pretty cool and loads better than a hand gun.

The transformations are amazing especially Prime when you first see him transform from truck to robot. Seem's to take a while but the close-ups rock.

As for his lip's, he does have them. He has a retractable face-plate. In battle the plate completely covers his mouth but when hes talking it slides back in two halves. Whats more...... it's Peter Cullen's voice......... the original Prime. Woot! Woot!

where can find high resolution Barricade BRAWL SKORPONOK RATCHET and original of JAZZ and OPTIMUS from the original site (white background like these) please email me if someone have :]

Thanks for that high definition photos, i really enjoyed them

I for one did not like the cartoon but this movie is actually one of the best I've ever seen in my whole life I'll love it forever! Its script is good, the robot's personalities were shown excellently and even better than before. Their alien+humane humor was blended just right to instantly like them and their design is undoubtedly the coolest giga robots I've ever seen (I'm saying it beats anime by a hundred...). Everyone I know also hated the cartoon but made it their mission to buy this movie after watching it too.
I give the movie a thumbs-up way up ^-^!
(and incourage you to watch it before criticizing it too.)
