My only reaction to these new shots from John Rambo was, "Yup. That's Rambo all right." Same guy, same mullet thing, a little older, but nothing really new. I don't know what I was hoping for, I'm just saying a glowing cybernetic eye goes a long way.

So what exactly is the plot behind this one?
The first one followed the book pretty well, but still wasn't as good. And then there's Rambo 2 and 3... the less said, the better.
I sincerely hope it's something more than a sixty year old man with a frilly bandana and a lisp trying to slit Charlie's throat.

I'm trying to figure out when we're going to get a Tango and Cash 2, where they're driving a Prius to Trader Joes to pick up their prune juice.
Stallone: stop acting. Retire with your millions and enjoy watching good actors at the movies. Don't tell me your Cop Land money has run out. Either stop acting, or play someone your age. You're closing on 61. Play a senator on a political drama. Play a judge on one of the 34 Law and Order shows. Be a dinosaur on Lost. Stop revisiting the 80s.
I loved you in Taxi 3, btw.

The next chapter finds Rambo recruited by a group of Christian human rights missionaries to protect them against pirates, during a humanitarian aid deliver to the persecuted Karen people of Burma. After some of the missionaries are taken prisoner by sadistic Burmese soldiers, Rambo gets a second impossible job: to assemble a team of mercenaries to rescue the surviving relief workers. Gotta say, the trailer looks awesome, and I can't wait to see this. You can't lose with Rambo. You just can't. Plus, what the hell do you expect!? It's fucking RAMBO, man! We're not talking deep cinematic masterpiece, here!

i love these aging hero stories. i thought it was great getting to see rocky on the screen again and for the first time to see one more fight. i think i'll get the same vibe from this. and it did piss me off when everybody talked about how much rocky would suck because he was old. that's the point of the fucking story! WHY THE FUCK DO YOU CARE SO MUCH! DON'T JUDGE THE GOD DAMN MOVIE UNTILL YOU'VE SEEN IT! OR BETTER YET, DON'T SEE IT! RAMBO'S GONNA KICK ASS NIGGA!!!!!!!!!!!!

RAMBO is the HARDEST ACTION HERO, they tortured his ass in part 2, and told him to set up his own leader, RAMBO said FUCK YOU to the dude soooo gangster. sooooo gangster of him. Only Sylvester Stallone can move like a real superior athlete on screen. and Jackie Chan I guess. Anyway they both do all their own stunts!! After watching the new RAMBO trailer, I'm thinking this RAMBO will put Stallone right into the action star Hall of Fame. Let's just say this RAMBO will shake the previous RAMBO we already know.
