The trailer for Rob Zombie's remake of John Carpenter's Halloween can be seen above or in high quality here. The way I see it, there are two ways to remake a movie: the wrong way and the way where you recreate it shot-for-shot with dogs. This is one of the two.

Seriously dude this movie looks amazing. Whoever is against this remake needs to get their head checked. If you would rather see a 9th sequel with rappers and shit instead of this amazing remake, then you're completely nuts. I'm so happy Rob's doing this. This is the only remake in hollywood that NEEDED to happen, the rest of them are shit. But this series, this series really needed this remake.

I heard the original theme and the mask looks good. Crazy doctor and huge knife. The ghost with glasses. all seems to be in order. looking forward to this one.

When I heard about this I was pissed. I grew up watching all of the Halloweens over and over again. But this trailer doesn't look that bad. Rob Zombie isn't talented musically or otherwise, but I think his Hot Topic image must have originated at least somewhat from a childhood love of these movies. If he screws this up though....

This is great news, because I've been waiting for a shot-for-shot remake of Halloween with dogs.

I would like to say as a true fan of Halloween that this movie better not suck. I heard that he has Young Micheal Myers masturbating to dead animals and talking with his mask on. 'wTF is this. I mean seriously I will watch anything having to do with Halloween and I like a little change but let's not take away from what made the movie scary in the first place. All in all I will have my ass in the theaters to check my man Mike out. Rob, please don't screw this up for all the fans out there.

i'll be honest at first when i heard yall were remaking this movie i was like i hope they dont ruin it. but after seeing the previews i was like damn it looks so freakin scary. i am terrified of michael myers i cant even go to haunted houses because of him. i am so excited to see this movie.

first off i'm wondering how you can remake the first halloween and call it the 9th one in the series. its like watching halloween 1-8 and then watching 1 all over again just with different people an more gore. its retarded. if you're going to make a 9th movie in a series of a world famous movie. make it original..... not a f#@king remake. thanks for ruining the series rob.
