Eric Bana and Rachel McAdams have signed with New Line to star in The Time Traveler's Wife, an adaptation of the bestselling Audrey Niffenegger novel. He's a librarian who time travels when stressed out; she's a young heiress who just wants a husband who doesn't time travel! Zoinks, how will they make it work?! Even if the movie tanks, CBS will definitely pick this up as a Mike O'Malley sitcom.

the book was actually really good, but i know this movie will suck. sadness.

Well you still got to love Rachel McAdams.

I would drink Rachel McAdams' bathwater.

That's genius casting. I was watching the Oscars two years ago with my mom and when I saw Eric Bana, I told my mom, "That's Henry!" She instantaneously agreed. We were thinking Kate Winslet as Clare, but McAdams will do great.

I'm totally psyched for this movie now.

I'm dreading McAdams as Clare. She just . . . isn't.

I can't think of a single woman who has what it takes to be Clare. Keira Knightly has the looks, but is she strong enough? Irrelevant, as she hasn't been cast. Too English?

As for Henry . . . There is truly no-one. But I salute Eric for trying.

I doubt my heart will ever be satisfied.
