Mar 16 2007Jeopardy! Desperately Pleads For Viewers

The event gave Alex Trebek his first orgasm in 23 years.
The Jeopardy! website has a cryptic message that tonight's show will be a history-making one, with an event that has never occurred before on the show and will likely never again. For some reason this has intrigued me enough to actually bother watching, making me the only person under 65 caring about the show.
Someone better be shot or something. I swear to god, if it's just a three-way tie, I'll be so pissed.
NOTE: This is going to cause me to miss Comedy Central's Scrubs rerun. Let me know what happens.
UPDATE: I'm so pissed.

I just want to say, I am definitely under the age of 65 (even under 30!), a reasonably attractive female, and not a complete dork, and I LOVE Jeopardy. It's the only game show that doesn't make me feel bad about myself after watching it, and the contestants are a good deal less stupid than anyone on any other game show out there (including Wheel of Fortune, which makes me want to gouge my eyes out). That being said, I won't be at home watching Jeopardy tonight, I'll be out. On a date. Getting a little tipsy.

J.D. learned a valuable lesson about life, Dr Cox was rude and nasty to him but ultimately conveyed that valuable lesson, and J.D. summed it all up with a schmaltzy voiceover.

I record Jeopardy! daily, and based on this my Tivo constantly asks if I would like to record Matlock, Momma's Family, and just the Andy Rooney portions of 60 Minutes.

Yeah, it was a three way tie at $16,000 a piece. They'll all go to the next day to play again.
That's pretty crappy though, I thought it would be something good like all three of them ending up with 0, now that would have been funny.

I thought it was the fact that Alex gave away one of the answers when he called on a contestant. But maybe that's happened before.
