A large headpiece is frequently compensation for other inadequacies.
There has been a lot of Internet rumor and speculation about whether Galactus, devourer of worlds and the occasional Cheesy Gordita Crunch (when available), will appear in The Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer. Director Tim Story has confirmed on his MySpace that he indeed will.
There continues to be much speculation about Galactus. Major speculation. We haven't finished the design of him/it so be careful about what you read and believe. Trust me...no one knows. One things for sure, you can expect to see him/it. It will be pretty powerful. I'm having a lot of fun with the concept and believe me - MOST will be satisfied.
Plan your day accordingly.

Gee wilikers, Galactus will be in the second Fantastic Four movie? Wow, what a scoop! Too bad everyone pretty much already knew this, since the name of the movie is not "Fantastic Four 2", but "Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer", and features the Surfer in the trailers, one of which explicitly mentions how planets die after the Surfer visits them. Whadja think, that the Surfer would be in the flick, but the guy whom he heralds WOULDN'T be? Yeah, you're a regular Sherlock Holmes, dude. Say, who would you say is buried in Grant's Tomb? :-)

Actually IT IS NEWS. With Hollywood messing with you don't know what to expect. So it is good to know that Galactus will actually make an appearance. Of course, they can still fuck it up by having him being a spaceship, a planet, or some other Hollywood nonsense all because a giant dude dressed in purple with a giant headpiece isn't "hip" enough

Sadly enough a spaceship (or a fleet) would'nt just be Hollywood nonsense, since Marvel used exactly that in the Ultimate Galactus story line. Here's to hoping that the movie will do it correctly.

Please. They're not going to do the film without Galactus. We knew he'd be in it, and we know that they'll up the detail on his look compared to the comics. It may or may not be purple, but it's a False Either/Or Fallacy to say that either it must be purple, or else it'll be a spaceship or planet. I would imagine that his body will probably have a lot of detail on it like on the surface of a Borg cube, and instead of green lights peeking through, they'll be blue and purple.

i'm pretty sure billy zane already has 90% of that costume. i'm also pretty sure billy zane's schedule is free. yup, i'd bet my left one on it. but only the left, don't get greedy nerds.
