Returning to the role of John Rambo at age 60, Stallone still has that look of utter defiance in his face. Except now, instead of facing corrupt authority, he faces the cruel effects of time on his aging flesh. Will steroid-loaded arms and a mullet wig be enough to prove he's still got it? Or do the sag of his man-breasts mirror the drooping spirit of an old man so unable to come to terms with his age that he'll do any idiotic movie that lets him recreate characters of his youth? Probably the latter.

I agree. Way too old. This movie is going to be a joke, although Rocky Balboa wasn't terrible.

I have a multiple choice for you all.
If a franchise is resurected with an aging "action hero" type name, and the actor in question is visibly too old for the endeavor, who is the biggest retard:
1) the guy who bwahaha's them on his movie site
2) the studio who greenlighted the project
3) the actor who everyone knows is too old for the project
4) the movie reviewers who give it major thumbs up
d) all of the above
See Rocky 12 or w/e the fuck that last flick was. I think the answer is D all of the above. This movie will get great reviews and some of you will end up owning it. It makes me nauseous in every respect.

I'm freaking sick and tired of hearing that people are to old. Let's face facts...yes he is older now...so freaking what? I bet he is in better shape than half the people that look at this website on a daily basis. This country better start respecting their elders as oppossed to throwing them away. Nobody gave Clint Eastwood shit when he made "In the Line of Fire" or Kurt Russell who is going to be in Grindhouse.
Get over it people.

I think the message of the movie is that John Rambo is much older now, and he's trying to live out the remainder of his life peacefully as a fisherman.

i love these aging hero stories. i thought it was great getting to see rocky on the screen again and for the first time to see one more fight. i think i'll get the same vibe from this. and it did piss me off when everybody talked about how much rocky would suck because he was old. that's the point of the fucking story! zoomgirl is right.
it's time to draw the last blood.
