Jan 26 2007New The Simpsons Movie Shots

The communists over at Kino-Express have acquired some new stills from The Simpsons Movie. This one is a cute self-referential political cartoon wherein Homer (representing Matt Groening et al.) happily prepares to beat Bart (The Simpsons franchise) with a hammer (a metaphorical hammer you use to beat a franchise into the ground).
UPDATE: Some were taken down, but there are more here.

After 18 years, and nearly 400 episodes, from it's beginnings in "The Tracey Ulman Show", to FOX "The Simpsons" finally get their own movie. I feel as excited about it as I would be about a new episode every Sunday night. Almost as great as when I found out it would be aired in syndication.
"The Simpsons" episodes never seem to lack and I'm never dissapointed. It has continued to be one of the best things on TV.
Still getting ratings, still winning awards, with this year winning Favorite Animated TV Comedy at The People's Choice Award. I see an Oscar in this movie's future! lol . If you missed any of this year's People's Choice Awards or would just like relive some of the best moments, you can watch highlights and exclusive behind the scene footage of the show at http://www.pcavote.com . I actually saw this teaser involving a hammer and Homer trying to fix the roof with Bart.
It was on before Flushed Away.
