The trailer for Transformers looks like every other Michael Bay movie, except with transforming robots. It did, however, give me a good idea for a porno version. Transboners tells the story of a team of alien dildos that have sex with women, then turn into robots and have sex with the women again. Then the women have sex with cars. There's a sticker on the box explaining that Transboners isn't transexual themed, and there will be no returns just because you expected transexual robot action and didn't read the sticker.

the trailer was very dull, but thats not the obvious problem. The problem is that theres nothing that separates one giant metal robot from the other. The cartoon version characters had personality....these...so far....dont have that quality.

Yes yes yes, quite! I agree that the level of sophistication of this film, even though only the trailer has been presented to me, is rather low. Dull, even. I agree with the high-minded, high-society chaps that we as pop-culture consumers need better entertainment. See, I don't want to have to "stretch" my imagination when dealing with a movie made from a poorly animated 80's cartoon that, while it had cahracters that were different in as many types as personalities, was otherwise not that good. There is no way you can convince us, company who released this trailer, that all of the transformers in this movie have absolutely no screen presence and no personality. Even though the trailer was almost silent and I didn't hear one Autobot nor Decepticon speak....but that's besides the point. We are to be entertained at all times by rich directors. They are to do the imagining for us. They are to do the "thinking." We don't have time for that kind of thing. We don't have time for patience. How dare you improve on an old idea?!? Change is bad. Except for slavery....oh and dial-up internet....and music.....and clothes.....and just about everything else in this country where we have so much stuff that food literally rots in our refridgerators and clothes don't have time to get worn out from use, there's a wal-mart, target, and strip-mall down the street from everyone. Bah, change and progress. Who needs it?*

Aside from making a slew of grammatical mistakes, I was simply saying that
(a)Transformers cartoon not best thing in world.
(b)Updating something and you not being familiar with it does not constitute it being bad. Just different.
(c)People are spoiled and want everything their way, all the time, right now. How's 'bout this: If you don't like the new look, go watch the old movie. If you do, go see the new one.
And no, I'm not funny at all. Just funny looking.

I wish you people could learn to shut the hell up. I normally defend people who are told to shut up by saying everyone is granted an opinion. but these opinions are backed up by nothing. "They look stupid by watching this quick trailer so the movie must suck." Or people still moaning over the fire decals on Prime.
Funny too. Before there were any pics of the transformers people were all worried if Prime was going to even be a Semi. I agree. I'd be pissed too if he was the rumored fire truck. But now that he's the traditional semi it seems like all you idiots got together and thought, "Oh sh17. They didn't mess it up. But I still want to complain! What should we do? Look! The... uh... paintjob! Yeah! The paint job is all wrong!"
I personally think this movie is going to be awesome. It might not be though. But here's something. Lets all go see the movie when it comes out and THEN we can make some judgements. Or is that too much?
