The Ramones Biopic Safetypinning Itself to Theaters

Gabba gabba hey! In the tradition of Sid and Nancy and Glitter, the newest punk music biopic in the works looks to be the story of The Ramones, reports Variety. Rory Rosegarten, producer of Everybody Loves Raymond, has optioned Joey Ramone's authorized biography, "I Slept With Joey Ramone," which was written by Ramone's brother and punk chronicler/limb fanatic Legs McNeil. Never has an ensemble cast so loudly screamed "Baldwin." Start growing your hair, boys.

Don't worry, this news makes you no more less of a rebel with your long hair and leather jacket.
