Rocky Balboa Trailer
There's just something about a Rocky movie. As soon as you hear that familiar, iconic anthem, you can't help but think, "Why would they ever continue making these? Have they not seen the current sequels?" But they have made it, so go ahead and watch the trailer. It's the one time you can calmly watch the brutal beating of an old man without feeling the guilt of actually watching the brutal beating of an old man. But seriously, that old guy at the bar was asking for it the way he kept blabbering about "The War."

christ...why does it always have to revolve around boxing? Why not make it about Rocky going into a Dennys in Orlando and after ordering a "Moons over my hammy" instead he gets a "Denver scramble" and then Rocky and the waiter (played by Vin Diesel) get into a knife fight but instead of knives they use plastic sporks. I'd see that over Rocky (insert number) anyday!

and i thought this movie was going to be rocky v. rambo, ala alien v. preditor.

ps: was sylvester stallone constantly smashed while they filmed this movie? i could only dechipher 31% his slurring, as opposed to 47% of Spy Kids 3-D.

Call me sappy, but I ate up the trailer and enjoyed it. I was a teen, when the first one came out. Yeah, the seqeals disaapointed, especially the one with the robot, but with maturity--I think Stallone might have done something here. I will go see it, just for memory sake. Rocky!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The trailer is brilliant and no-one is forcing any of you CGI savants into watching it when it comes out.
But lo and behold, it's number 1 on almost every movie website there is as the most watched trailer and that's been every day since it's debut earlier this week.
Hey, maybe this Rocky will be like the porno EVERYONE admits they'd never watch but secretly lap it up.

And one more thing!
At least we get the ORIGINAL Rocky and not some Batman (Keaton,Kilmer,Clooney,Bale) ,Superman, (x 26) and Bond caper which has NO continuity nor respect for the original concept.
(Concept i.e. "Word used before FRANCHISE")
At least us ROCKY fans get to see ALL the characters (Rocky jnr. excluded) be portrayed and conveyed by the people who gave them breath the first time around.
How many saga's can boast that ?
