Primetime Emmy Award Nominations Announced

The Academy of Television Arts & Sciences has spontaneously decided to nominate some television artists and scientists for some awards, in something they're calling "The Emmy Awards." 24 and Grey's Anatomy led the nominations with 12 and 11 respectively, meaning, to my grandfather, that 24 and Grey's Anatomy are the favorite shows of Jews and homosexuals, though I think a lot of his resentment stems from the Academy's repeated snubbing of old Bonanaza reruns.
See the full list of nominations here.

seeing how i can't read and all, that list was way too long. and also, why is it the emmys of 2005? aren't we in 2006? they need to get with the times. it'll be like watching reruns of shows i never particularly liked in the first place. lame.

After scanning through that whole stinking list, I found that "My name is Earl", the best comedy on TV since forever, got 1 stinking nomination. 1. "Malcolm" got a bunch, and it hasn't been funny since... Well... Wait. Was it ever funny?

Marcia Cross was robbed! She CARRIED Desperate Housewives this entire season, and while the show took a turn for the worse Marcia was ALWAYS on top of her game in drama and comedy scenes.

emmys = liberals celebrating each others sh*tty work

Actually, Darth, unlike the Oscars, I find that good TV shows really are nominated for Emmys. They don't always win, but at least masterpieces aren't ignored and the winners aren't complete pieces of sh*t like, I dunno, Gladiator or A Beautiful Mind . . .
So it is liberals congratulating themselves for their own work, but not necessarily their sh*tty work. Besides, liberals are so awesome that they should be allowed to give themselves medals just for being liberals.

liberals giving awards to liberals just for being liberals? it's called chicago (the city, not the movie, mind you).

Yes, I'm a liberal myself, but I do recognize our tendency to be, oh I dunno, smug. Or at least the famous ones. Which sucks, because we used to be more like Truman and less like Clooney.
