The Wicker Man Trailer

wicker-man-trailer.jpg

In yet another attempt to make it look like Nicolas Cage has hair, the trailer for The Wicker Man has been released. A sherriff (Cage) investigates the disappearance of a young girl on an island and ends up discovering that the inhabitants are practicing strange pagan rituals. If you're a fan of the original 1973 classic, prepare to be vastly disappointed. Scientology has really made pagan rituals look tame. Burning a giant wicker effigy isn't that weird compared to a lot of things Tom Cruise has been doing. Also, due to budget constraints, all the scenes involving the wicker man were shot using a stack of baskets in a Pier 1. It comes off as surprisingly believable if you ignore the middle-aged woman haggling over the price of scented candles.

I'd cut of my pinky right now and offer it to a pagan god for a legitimate explanation and or backstory as to how Steve Jobs and Apple managed to render all internet movie trailers 98% unviewable. I'm serious. I'd give both pinkies and a toe. Is someone somewhere getting a few extra bucks payola to offer their trailers in a unique format only available to people who prefer the otherwise worthless application known as Quicktime? Perhaps Mr. Jobs sacrificed his wiener to the same god and that's why I'll never get an answer nor be able to see 98% of movie trailers online as I age and ultimately die. The upshot is that I am about 90% less likely to see a movie if I have been prevented from seeing the trailer due to my purchasing and pc preferences. Way to go Steve!

what's the problem of downloading the FREE quicktime player for windows? and if you are not capable of doing that, why do you complain about not being able to see something when there are literally thousands of other sites showing trailers?

get a life.

I made my complaint too wordy for you I guess. I'll try again.

QUICKTIME SUCKS FANBOI

I hasten to add: wouldn't it seem odd to you if 90% of all movie trailers were hosted at microsoft.com? Meh look at your login. Your a shining representative of anonymity. And iPeople.
