Think of it as passing a secret note in class for the new millennium, only this note won't say, "No, I don't like you. You wear 'husky' jeans."

I'm sorry, did I miss something? Somewhere along the line, did Mysterio suddenly become NOT lame? Because I'm pretty sure that last time I checked, he was just a dude with a fishbowl on his head. Of all the people I thought they would use in the Spider-Man movies, he has to be the last.

Well, maybe Shocker is the last.

While Superman Returns dodged the gay theme that seems so obvious, Spider-Man 3 will tackle it head on.

How will Spidey deal with a villian who is gay for him?

#3 - you're kidding me. If that's true, then this may be a new age - where the third installment of a movie may not automatically suck ass.

That would be cool, a true return of the Bruce&Raimi duo! :D
Of course it wouldnt surprise me, he was in the first two :p

No wait, that makes me think he wont play a big part in this one, it might be just another cameo for continuity.

Not to mention it would be taking a silly character and dipping him in a big vat of silliness :P

I still say its Black Cat! They wanted to write her into the first two movies but couldnt work it out.
*Its in both of the commentaries, yes, I listened to them all stfu!

Having Black Cat in while Spidey goes dark would be sufficient justification for him to be tempted from MJ through an audience viewpoint.
It would also give MJ a challenge. Whats really left for her? Shes been saved by him 3 times and now their relationship is all worked out.

Unless they dive into the whole Movie Star(M.J.) wooed/threatened by Stunt Man(Mysterio) angle. *blegh*

I want to see Raimi take on le femme fatale! I know he would do us lady comic fans justice... unlike that painful Cat Woman parody.

#6: Gwen Stacy is MJ's competition in this movie. She's played by Bryce Dallas Howard (a bad choice, I feel) and is probably going to get her neck snapped by Green Goblin/Spidey. Or maybe they'll switch it around, and we'll get to see Kirsten Dunst's neck snapped. That would be tight.

So there's really no room for The Black Cat.

I thought MJ was already an amalgamation of all spiderman's love interests. damnit! Thats bad news :(

Oh well, I suppose I can atleast hope for your secondary resolution ;)
Im a bit worried about the number of components in this movie. Theres just too many.
I wish we knew the entire story so we could see where it all fits throughout all of the movies.
They are still planning on doing 4 or more right?
