Jun 13 2006Science of Superman Tests Superpowers
If you just can't get enough Superman bullshit, prepare for the National Geographic Channel to exploit that for their ratings. Immediately following the June 28 release, the cable station will air a special called The Science of Superman questioning how much science fact lies behind the Man of Steel's superpowers:
The Man of Steel has enthralled audiences for decades with his incredible powers of flight, super strength, x- ray vision and super speed. But just how much science fact is there behind these superpowers? On Thursday, June 29 at 9 p.m. ET/PT, National Geographic Channel's (NGC) "The Science of Superman" puts the superpowers to the test, revealing what's plausible based on the earth-bound laws of physics, biology and astronomy, and what's pure science fiction.
What the hell are they talking about? It's all science fiction. Superman isn't based on any fact. I understand that super speed and flight are actual scientific concepts, but they're obviously impossible for anyone to actually achieve. Is this for real? What are their tests going to be, a guy standing around trying to see through a wall? See if some guy can make the earth spin backwards to reverse time? "Well, it's still Tuesday. I guess that one might not hold up under scrutiny, huh?"

Seriously, are you that fucking stupid? They're talking about the scientific plausibility of such things existing in NATURE. Not whether human beings can do those things. Ants, for example, have the "super strength" to lift many times their own body weight. Discussions of speed can include talk of sprint runners, and how advancements in genetic engineering can allow the mitochondria in our blood cells to absorb more oxygen (though one problem is that doing too much of this could cause the walls of our lungs to bleed). And while I don't think any animals have X-ray vision, some can see in portions of the EM spectrum that humans can't. It's just a harmless TV program, dude. Lighten up.

I was just going to bash the crap out of this dude yet again. But thanks for doing it for me SVA1994.
I swear to god, if it's more then 1 person posting blogs on this site, then you guys have to be some of the dumbest people around. Not only are you not smart, but you lack any resposiblity to check on info for what an article like this means.
You try to be funny, but it just comes off as you looking stupid as hell. I suggest someone at Anticlown Media does some firing.

If "I Watch Stuff - Run by stupid people," then that doesnt bode well for the two whom read it only to crack on them.

well discussion about the possibilities of a superhuman, hmm then i think superman lacks many things or strengths. If a human gains total control over its subconcious mind through deep meditation and concentration and its toughtest practical practices, then he could fly with his open eyes and could even move objects without touching them. Well then that human even could block another human's brain signals to kill or to take control over them.
Now talking about time. that is to move in different dimension. For this one needs to achieve the theta level and he will find a way for jumping in different dimensions.
Don't worry goats, this sheep is going to show you how far a human can go its like playing go....
