Mar 7 2006X-Men: The Last Stand Trailer

x3trailer.jpg

Fox has finally released the trailer for the third chapter of X-Men, and I have to admit that there are definitely some cool looking parts. Angel takes flight, Magneto leads an army of evil mutants, some things explode; it's all looking much better than I anticipated. That said, I'm still completely skeptical of the quality of this movie. It's easy to show the good parts if you only have to fill a couple minutes. I've got the feeling that, like the husband in a Lifetime movie, this film will eventually show its true colors. Sure, Dean Cain seemed friendly when he was picking up the kids from school, and there's no denying he's handsome, but why does Tracey Gold suddenly have so many bruises on her arms? I know he seemed like the perfect husband in the first hour (save for the times a dramatic chord was played when he got aggravated), but he's got another side to him! Goddammit, Tracey, get the hell out now, while you still have time. There's a reason he never talks about his ex-wife, whom we saw in only a brief flashback: she's dead! I don't remember what I was originally talking about now, so I'll just return to watching Golden Girls.

Er ... Dean Cain ???

Thanks for the chuckles,

If Patrick Stewart says it's the best installment in the series... that's good enough for me.

ug,

I'm annoyed at this whole thing Singer abandoned the franchise, which was awesome, to make that crappy Superman Movie that looks less interesting than Smallville somehow. And now X-3 feel into the incompetent hands of Ratner.

And thus we're cheated out of 2 good superhero movies, at least Rebecca Romijn is still only wearing body paint.

Stupid or not, I am ever-faithful.

Im going to watch it and love it. I love the XMen cartoons, so I dont see how I could hate the XMen movies if Im entranced by the cartoons.

As of yet, I am not disappointed by anything having to do with X-Men publications (short of a few of the video-game installments). Both movie trailers for this one have been awesome, and regardless of what some overachiever who was told people like hearing only negative feedback about things, this guy has it wrong... and can't even remember that this thread was about x-Men, and not Dean Cain please stop drinking the bong water).

The introduction of so many of our favorite, as of yet neglected, characters has more than dazzled me, and my whole family for that matter. And I must agree with "Algernon", if Patrick Stewart says it's the best one yet, I'm gonna trust him on that. I don't see him saying that just to get us into the theaters, and put his word on the line. We're going to go anyway...

I'm going to laugh when all these people are trying to delete their old posts about how they thought it was going to suck when it comes out and they've wet themselves in the theater, because of overzealous tension while watching Psyloch, Iceman, Angel, and Colossus tear it up...
