Full Spider-Man 3 Plot Revealed?

spider-man-3-plot.jpgWith no explanation as to its origin, the website Dark Horizons has posted a fairly comprehensive plot outline for Spider-Man 3. While a lot of the information given was already known or assumed, many of the details I think have been unconfirmed or missing altogether until now, such as the presence and origins of certain villains, their roles, and the timeline of events. So if you don't mind hearing some possible spoilers, go ahead and read the summary here.

It's not that I don't believe this is the plot, I'd just like a little more proof before I buy into it. It's like if a woman insists that you're her "baby's daddy," you'd want Maury Povich to show you a paternity test first, right? Fine, so maybe it turns out you are the father. So what? You just wanted a little proof. So you can stop calling me, alright, Debbie? I'll give you your fucking money.

"Peter's upset boss determined to make his life hell for causing his son emotional distress."

Huh? Who's Peter's boss? Mr. White? How did Peter cause his son emotional distress? I seem to be missing something.

Last movie mary jane was engaged to him. (whites son) and dumped him for peter

Ya this is 100% true. A costume designer spilled the beans a couple months ago and this is EXACTLY what he said. I can;t wait to see the showdown at the end between spider-man, green goblin, venom, and sandman. It should kick ass.

Mr. White? as in Perry White? The Editor of the Daily Planet, the paper that Clark Kent writes for....

You are thinking of J. Jonah Jameson, Editor of the Daily Bugle & in the last movie, MJ was engaged to his son & she left him at the alter to be with Peter.

Well, we already know that Opie's daughter is playing Gwen Stacy in the flick, and that Sandman is a confirmed villain. But the plot they're giving just doesn't "feel" right to me. So I'm going to go out on a limb and say that while SOME additional aspects may be true, the majority of it is not accurate, or was just some "leaked" info the studio wanted us to have, so we would be surprised by the actual plot.

Oh, and if they do end up making Harry the Hobgoblin, I'm gonna be more than a little disappointed at the major seperation from continuity. My guess: someone steals the Green Goblin gear, becomes the Hobgoblin, and Harry is blamed.
If they do it that way, at least it'll be a little closer to the comic book version, while putting a different spin on things.

That's My Opinion But You're Welcome To It.

Separation from continuity hasn't stopped anyone before, or else why didn't Norman kill Gwen? Although having The Hobgoblin be some random mercenary would be nice, the movie is too short to pack all of that in. Besides, with only 3 movies in the series who wants to see another Green Goblin?

"Spider-Man" and "plot"...Now there are two words I never thought I'd hear in the same sentence...kind of like, "George Bush" and "What a really bright guy."
