Mar 10 2006Casino Royale Publicity Shots

A new batch of shots from the new Bond, Casino Royale, have been released here, including more of Daniel Craig as Bond, Judi Dench as M, and the one we've all been clamoring for: a woman in a bikini petting a horse (seriously).

Until these shots, I hadn't realized what a cretin Daniel Craig was. This is James Bond? Between his simian little ears, the low-hanging brow, and dumbfounded look, he looks genuinely de-evolved. The only way he can work in a Bond movie is if they make it in prehistoric caveman times with a Cro-Magnon Bond. And the best part still wouldn't be him, but when Q pulls out one of his amazing gadgets, and it's just fire, or a club, or a stone sharpened into a cutting tool, and we all laugh, because cavemen are stupid.

Maybe I'm just jaded about everything these days, but what I've seen so far of this movie looks boring as hell.

i'm trying not to be pessimistic about the new Bond. I think he looks pretty good, and even though they're redoing an old bond movie, if they do it right it could be pretty cool.

oh wait, what planet am i on, of course they're not gonna do it right.

I think he is a horrible choice for Bond. He could play a good villian, but no Bond. Don't get me wrong, he's a good actor and this doesn't mean the film wont be good. But lets be honest, without a good lead character that looks and acts the part, you are taken out of the film and thus brings the quality down.

Yeah, seriously I can't stand to look at this ugly fool

Where's Clive Owen when you need him?

Hmm, anyone know if the actress who plays M is in Toronto at the moment? My friends and I think we saw her the other day.
