Feb 13 2006World Trade Center Teaser Poster

wtcteaser.jpg

Here's the teaser poster to Oliver Stone's upcoming 9/11 film, World Trade Center. I worry people "won't get it." With just the title and the giant silhouettes of the World Trade Center-- is it to subtle? Maybe there should be a cartoon Osama bin Laden dressed like the Red Baron flying an old plane, too. I say just scrap what you've got and start over. Save this one for World Trade Center II.

It's too damn soon to make a movie about that World Trade Center.

What an awful poster, whats with the cloud being at the bottom?

Gee, I don't know...if this is a traditional Oliver Stone movie, this poster is about as subtle as it's going to get.

I bet he makes Tsunami and Katrina films to complete his "what the fuck, please give it 20 years" trilogy.

poo! This is definately going on my "not watching/don't give a shit" list of movies...I think America has waaaaaa'd on about this for long enough... poo I say poo!

I hope they have the sense to do like they did on the Spiderman trailer and other movies and digitally remove all traces of the WTC as to not offend anyone.

"America has waaaaaa'd on about this for long enough"

Yeah, especially those big crybabies who lost family members. Get over it already.

I think it's too soon to make this movie. too. Me thinks it's going to offend and hurt a lot of people.

If anyone knows Stone, that's usually his M.O., "Striving to offend, refusing to care." (I copied that line off a T-shirt for a bnad called FOUL).

I hope he doesn't muck it up by miscasting people. BUT I DO hope he makes it like a conspiracy theory. I love that!

I just threw up in my mouth a little. Not that I have a problem with exploiting other people's misfortune for your own monetary gain... It's just that I have a problem with shitty looking movie posters.
