Feb 20 2006Spike Lee Making Louis Bio
Speaking at a university this past Martin Luther King Jr. Day, director Spike Lee revealed his next project. Following the Hurricane Katrina documentary he is currently working on, he hopes to begin a biopic on boxer Joe Louis starring Oscar nominee Terrence Howard.
Spike Lee has been kind of hit-and-miss for me, but I'm really hoping he nails this one, because it could be something great. A success could mean such choice quotes as, "Howard delivers a knock-out performance," "Lee keeps viewers on the ropes," and People Magazine's recommendation, "You'll 'Louis' yourself in this riveting drama!"

I've finally figured out why they always refer to his films as, "A Spike Lee Joint"
You have to smoke about five big fatties in order to have any chance of sitting through one of them. God awful rubbish the lot of them.
He never should of stopped making Nike commercials...

25th Hour was pretty good, but Summer of Sam was horrible. I somehow managed to escape watching any of his other movies.

And I liked Summer of Sam, but I have a weird crush-type-thing on Adrien Brody.
