Feb 3 2006Bryce Goes Blonde For Spider-Man
Bryce Howard made an appearance on Tuesday's The Tonight Show, showing off her blonde dye-job for the role of Gwen Stacy in Spider-Man 3. I think Bryce looks pretty great as a blonde, and far more natural than I would have thought. Now, hopefully she won't react to her newly platinum locks the same way my mother did to hers: by leaving my father for a basketball player.

She does look more natural than I would have imagined. And by 'natural' I mean a cheap, hydrogen peroxide bleached slut. Seriously, I thought this was Jenny McCarthy before I saw the heading. A shame.

They should just have her keep her red hair, and have Kirsten Dunst keep her blonde, and have them trade roles. That way, Mary Jane would actually be hot -- and Kirsten Dunst would die.

Ironic that Dunst, the natural blonde, dyes her hair red to play Mary Jane, and Bryce Howard, a natural redhead, has to dye hers blonde to play Gwen.
But you know what would be even more ironic, and cool? If they actually kill off Mary Jane in Spider-Man 3, and let Gwen live, thus diverting from the continuity of the comic book.
Seriously, I think they should do it -- and, really, would fans of the comic book really mind this switching of the characters' fates, considering we're talking about getting rid of Kirsten Dunst?

OMG!!!! Bryce Howard, that's amazing. What a fool she is. I liked her so much in the past, because she seemed not to feed into the whole Hollywood machine. Guess I was wrong, the demons got her anyway. I didn't even recognize her because she now looks like every oter tramp skanking her way through California. Another man down captain...

Changing your appearance for a role is buying into the Hollywood machine? So... Raging Bull, Tootsie, Boys Don't Cry, The Machinist... these were all product of Hollywood schlock?

Umm..that's what being an actress in Hollywood means. You HAVE to change your appearance to fit roles..otherwise, no job. It's not like she's a porn star who can change her hair to blonde on a whim. It's to fit the part she's playing in a movie. ANd she'll PROBABLY change it back when that's done. Unless she needs it for her next role.
