Feb 16 2006Bond Villain Cast
The long struggle to cast the upcoming Bond film, Casino Royale, has nearly ended, with the role of the nemesis Le Chiffre filled by Danish actor Mads Mikkelsen. From the pictures I've seen of him, he looks a bit pretty-boy to be a villain. I don't have any names in mind, but I'd prefer if they cast someone with a Fu Manchu mustache, or their brain in a glass dome. I only understand exaggerated caricatures of villainy.

Mads will do just fine as the new Bond villan. He was the hunky Tristan in King Arthur (the movie blew, but he was very watchable!)

You think that's a pretty boy?? Yikes. Why are they casting all these people we have never heard of? That will show up in ticket sales for sure. Sad.

Is casting a movie with people no one has ever heard of the metaphysical equivalent of never having cast it at all? It boggles the mind.
And by,"boggles the mind" I mean, "is of no effing interest to anyone".

I don't understand why the article is about some random Dutch actor, but then the picture attached to it is of Alec Baldwin; this new Bond movie is really scraping the bottom of the barrel.

nothing about the new Bond movies is particularly exciting. I think it was a bad move to drop Brosnan. He was good for one more movie. Espically since all his movies grossed more and more each time around and became the most grossing Bond films of all time. These have got to be some of the dumbest oroducers in hollywood today

I don't think it's Alec, it looks more like the lesser known youngest Baldwin, Skippy. He's the one with Downs Syndrome with a twist of Mongoloidism. Wait, that's all of the Baldwins. Never mind.
