robbins1984.jpgThe George Orwell classic 1984 may be headed to theaters if Tim Robbins has his way. He is currently directing a stage version for his LA Theatre Troupe, but recently mentioned he has a script and is working on putting it all together for the screen. When questioned why he would develop the story, a tale of a dark, totalitarian government that closely monitors its citizens, Robbins said, "something scathingly liberal."
