Brandon Routh, our world's next Superman, gave a few bits of choice information regarding the plot of Superman Returns:
Superman leaves without saying a word to Lois Lane and that causes some bitterness on her part. He also confirms that there is only one villain, Lex Luthor.
Hearing this news, I can't help but think of my father, who left my mother and I without saying a word. And how, with his heavy drinking, he too faced only one villain: alcoholism. But mostly, it reminds me of how sometimes he would dress up like Superman and talk for hours about Vietnamese women.

Wait, so he is a jerk for keeping the script and events under wraps. Maybe he's under contract to. I'm not sure I see anything there to indicate him being ass as much as I see you guys desperate for another blog entry.

Lets see, the quote (basis for the whole article) states clearly that hes a jerk to lois lane for leaving without saying a word, and shes bitter.
The funny commentary below the quote focuses on his own "dad" being a an alcoholic jerk to his "mom" and leaving her without saying a word.

lol Know where in the actual source link on IESB does it state that Brandom was being a jerk to them. It says he said "Superman leaves without talking to Lois Lane and that makes her bitter" If that wasnt about the plot of the movie why in gods name would he tell the world he was being a dick to the actress and now shes pissed at him. 1. The 'jerk' comment is in reference to superman the character, not brandon.
2. The reference is, that since he left lois without saying a word, he (superman, not brandon) is a jerk to lois.
