In The Name Of The King Trailer
Uwe Boll's official site has a 90 second teaser trailer for his upcoming In The Name Of The King: A Dungeon Siege Tale. And so begins another video game franchise that Uwe Boll will drive directly into the landfill. What really pisses me off about this one is that he actually got Jason Statham signed on. I couldn't care less about the other movies he's made, but now he's actually risking the reputation of an actor I care about. Statham isn't exactly Tom Hanks, but if you've seen any of The Transporter movies or Snatch, you know why he's stolen my heart. And why I want to make sweet, furious love to his ass-kicking abilities. Wait, did I just say I want to make sweet, furious love to his ass? That can't be good.

Snatch was really good, but I thought transporter was awful. Obviously others did too, since he;s in a movie made by Uwe Boll.

I am a bit pissy Jason took this role to. Ever since I saw him in the first Transporter movie way back when I decided to follow his career, and yes he does kick ass. Lets hope this doesnt drive his career into a hole.

Oh hafaball I meant to comment on your comment. It's funny how you say others thought the Transporter was awful. Can you explain to me then how the first one pulled a profit and got a sequel greenlit, and I will agree that the 2nd one has some ridiculously unbelivable cheesy action sequences....but that movie did extremly succesful enough to greenlight a 3rd sequel. Before you try to make some wity banter, make sure your educated on a movie before you sound stupid.

Now there's a solid argument: any movie that can earn a sequel must be good. That includes such classics as Jeepers Creepers, Cruel Intentions, Daredevil... I'd list more, but I think you get my point. That being said, I've actually heard that the first Transporter was good, but I'm not in a huge rush to see it just yet.

1st transporter is good. Kick ass action, hot asian girl. Man, that asian girl is hot.
Statham was pretty smooth in italian job too, pickin up broads like it aint no thang...

I dont care what movie Statham is in, ever since I saw him in The One with Jet Li, I watch his movies with a lit candle some wine and no undies.

I'd rate his movie a 10 if all he did was stand there with his shirt off for two hours.

I like Statham....but when I'm reminded that Uwe Boll is still allowed to make movies, and am not allowed to direct big budget movies my brain hurts.
