Benicio Del Toro has been spotted for the first time in his full Che garb on the set of the biopic of the same name. Let me admit, straight up, I've never seen an actual photograph of Che Guevara, but Del Toro does look pretty close to the shirts people kept wearing back when Rage Against the Machine was popular. Granted, I've also never seen the actual shirts, but I think I saw a parody shirt once where that Super Mario character was Che, and I can imagine how this might look something like what that might have been imitating.

he looks plump. but who cares, he could be making a rainbow brite movie and i would still watch it. benicio kicks ass

I'm willing to forgive him for 'The Hunted.' He's a real hero to squinty-eyed Puerto Ricans everywhere...by everywhere, I mean me.

Uh oh, Mexicans aren't gonna like this, since he;s playing Che. Che was mexican right? aren't all spanish people mexican?

Che was from Argentina, not Mexico. Spanish people are from Spain. Puerto Ricans are just plain sexy. Note: Hispanic people get annoyed when you refer to us all as 'Mexican.' Unless they really are Mexican, in that case it's ok. No hard feelings here though, kiss kiss.

Hmmm...It will be interesting to see if they glorify Ernesto or show him as he really was.

Javier Bardem and Benjamin Bratt are in this mutha too. I wonder who's playing Fidel?
