God, "Good Night and Good Luck" was so BORING. The sub-plot about the married couple didn't even have anything to do with the main story line. In fact, I'm not sure why they introduced ANY of the supporting characters.

Why the hell wasn't Cinderella Man nominated for any best picture awards? That movie kicked so much ass that every democrat in the country had a smarting posterior just after its release.

I think most of us will be in aggreance that ALL award shows are a giant joke. I wont even begin to get into how corrupt it all is because i'll take up a GIANT portion of the page. Anyways anybody who the movie buisness will tell you all award shows are a joke, even the Peopls Choice awards. You know who these "people are"? They are a group of people who have to vote on an already picked list of movies. THEY ARE ALL A GIANT JOKE! >_<

Also, why is it that dramas are the only movies that can win an oscar? You'll never see a comedy win an Oscar, even though EVERY actor will tell you that comedy is the hardest to do. You'll never see a sci-fi movie win an oscar. It's all a joke.

Even though it's up for an Oscar nomination, I'd never see Buttfuck Mountain, and neither would any self-respecting hetero male. I'd never pay to see a love story involving two guys - why the hell would I want to see that, even if the movie was "well done" in the eyes of it's peers? Of course all the gays will flock to it, as well as gay supporters, so it's guaranteed at least SOME audience. More power to them, by all means, let them go see it but I'll wait for the Coen movie, thanks.

The Devil: Thank you for attempting to assert your heterosexuality via a comment on a website. I know that I was wondering, "Is that guy that posts under The Devil gay, or straight?" and finally, you've answered. No one cares. Thank you.

To HA!: You're welcome. And thanks for letting us all know you're a big, flaming MO.
